October 22nd 2006, rebroadcast nationally the performance of The Luna Trio (Mayumi’s piano trio) in NPR's "From The Top". This was the 3rd broadcast of this performance.

May 12, Friday, 7:30 pm at the San Francisco International Music Festival  presents "A Duo Grand Piano Concert" performing was "The Piano Sisters" Mayumi & Rieko, Pas De Duo, The Tosheff Piano Duo, Kirk Whipple & Marilyn Morales Duo.

"Chamber music Concert" Mayumi and Rieko played with their piano trios, works by Shostakovitch and Dvorak Mozart's"

 

April 23, Sunday, 2 pm at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Hellman Hall, San Francisco

Mayumi & Rieko opened the "Farewell Concert At Ortega Street". They performed:

Robert Kurka's Dance Suites for 4 Hands. The event was the largest in the Conservatory's history. Sorry, tickets were sold out in 45 minutes.

 

April 15, Saturday, 2 pm at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Hellman Hall, San Francisco

The Luna Trio performed: Beethoven: Piano Trio in C minor, Op. 1 # 3, Massenet: Meditation from "Thais", Doori Na, violin and Mayumi Tsuchida, piano, Chopin: Ballade in G minor, Mayumi Tsuchida, piano, Saint-Saens: "The Swan" from Carnival of the Animals, Tessa Seymour, cello and Mayumi Tsuchida, piano Dvorak: Piano Trio Op. 90, "Dumky”

 

April 6th, Thursday, 7:30 pm

Mayumi & Rieko played in the "sfmf Young Artists Piano Duo Concert" at JB Piano Company, 540 Irwin Street, San Rafael. Donations only.

 

March 8th, Tuesday, 7 pm The Luna Trio played for 1 hour including a solo performance by Mayumi at the "GINDI" auditorium, 15600 Mulholland Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90077 (on the University of Judaism Campus)

 

February 12th, Sunday at San Domenico School Concert Hall, San Anselmo

Mayumi and Rieko played Mozart's "Double Piano Concerto in E flat Major"

 

February 4th, Saturday, 8 pm

The Luna Trio (Mayumi’s piano trio) plays in NPR's "From The Top". Presented as part of Stanford Lively Arts at Stanford University 650-725-ARTS

Mayumi and Rieko play "The Chopin Christmas Concert" winners of the 2005 "10th Annual San Francisco Chopin Competition for Young Pianists" and invited guests. (Mayumi and Rieko won 2 of the 3 age categories) 

November 17 and 18, Thursday and Friday, 8 pm at Golden Gate Club, Presidio of San Francisco
Mayumi plays Chopin's Ballade in G minor at the "Pacific Union presents Concerts at the Presidio"

 

October 23, Sunday, 3 pm at San Domenico School Concert Hall, San Anselmo

Mayumi plays harpsichord in the "Vivaldi at San Domenico"* benefit program. She will play Vivaldi's "Concerto in F Major" with the San Domenico Orchestra. Joining them for "Quoniam tu solus sanctus" and "Cum Sancto Spiritu" will be the San Domenico Choir . Following the Vivaldi program she will play Brahms Sonata for Cello and Piano in E minor Op. 38 Allegro non troppo.

 

October 23, Sunday, 3 pm at San Domenico School Concert Hall, San Anselmo

Rieko plays Beethoven's "Piano Trio in C minor, Opus 1 No. 3" with her San Domenico Piano Trio which includes Mihn-Seon on Cello and Sarah Lee on Violin. Just following the "Vivaldi at San Domenico"* benefit program

 

October 15th, Saturday, 12 pm, at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Agnes Albert Hall, San Francisco

Mayumi plays J.S. Bach "Prelude and Fugue in B Major, Well Tempered Clavier Book 1"

 

September 21, Wednesday, 7 pm at Sherman Clay in San Francisco 

Mayumi plays Chopin Ballade in g minor on Vladimir Horowitz's Steinway Piano

 

In 2004, Mayumi and Rieko were guest solo artists of the Smuin Ballet at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.

 

Mayumi also played the Chopin Ballade No.1 in g minor at Yoshi’s in Berkeley during the intermission of Jazz Pianist Jessica Williams.
