May 4th, Sunday, 2:30 pm Rieko played Liszt Concert Etude Gnomenreigen in the Marin Music Chest Winner's Concert at the Performing Arts Center in San Domenico School

April 13th, Sunday, 1:30pm Rieko and Mayumi played for a private afternoon party at the Falkirk Cultural Center, 1408 Mission Avenue, Downtown San Rafael

 

April 12th, Saturday, 2pm Rieko played Liszt Concert Etude Gnomenreigen for The American Liszt Society Concert at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Main Concert Hall, 50 Oak St. San Francisco, CA

 

April 6th, Sunday, 4pm Rieko and Mayumi played for the Heifetz Fundraising Concert at the house of Joe Sinay, founder of the Sinay Company, in Beverley Hills, LA Rieko played Liszt Concert Etude Gnomenreigen and Mayumi played Bach Toccata in D Major BWV 912 and as the Pianosisters, they played C.S. Themes and Variations by Randall Compton

February 23, Saturday, Mayumi with the other members of  THE LUNA TRIO, Violinist Jennifer Wey and Cellist Tessa Seymour, flew to New York to play Carnegie hall.  Their performance was for a live audience videotaping of the "From the Top" television program. It will air nationally on PBS in September.

December 10, Monday, 6:00 pm Rieko & Mayumi played at the Pacific Musical Society's 97th Annual Christmas Gala Dinner, Concert and Silent Auction.

Rieko performed with her trio, violinist Kenneth Renshaw and cellist Will Chow.  They played the Beethoven piano trio Op. 1 No. 1 in E-flat Major-I. Allegro.  at the new San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Agnes Albert Recital Hall, 50 Oak St. San Francisco, CA

Mayumi and Rieko played a full program for the "Music at Kohl Mansion" Donor Event

Rieko was chosen by Bernard Osher to play at his amazing 80th Birthday Celebration September 9th, held at SF MOMA. It was an extravagant evening filled with passion filled performances and laughter. His esteemed guests flew in from all over the world to attend.

August 15, Wed. 12:30pm THE LUNA TRIO
Mayumi performed with her trio, Violinist Jennifer Wey, Cellist Tessa Seymour.
in the "Bing Concert Series" at Stanford Hospital, Palo Alto, in the Hospital Atrium. Jennifer played previously in this series and was very well received; for this performance she invited Mayumi and Tessa to perform with her. Thank you Jennifer

 

June 8th, Friday, 7:00pm, Tamalpais High School's Spring Concert. Mayumi played the Grieg Piano Concerto in A-minor with the Tam High Orchestra. (The Tam High band and orchestra will also be playing other pieces) Tamalpais High School in the Ruby Scott Auditorium 700 Miller Avenue, Mill Valley, California 94941.

 

June 7th, Thursday, 7:30pm, Mayumi played with Tessa Seymour (cellist from Mayumi's piano trio The Luna Trio) the Brahms Cello and Piano Sonata in E-minor; Mayumi also played the G-minor ballade by Chopin in the "Pacific Union presents Concerts at the Presidio" at the  Golden Gate Club, Presidio of San Francisco

 

June 1st, Friday, 8:00 pm
Rieko played Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 11 in A Minor
on National Public Radio's "From the Top" at Herbst Theatre, 401 Van Ness Ave. San Francisco, CA
